Serolatex-ASO

Serolatex-ASO kit is agglutination based latex slide test intended for qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of anti-streptolysin-O (ASO), a substance produced by group A streptococcus bacteria, in human serum.
Group A strep bacteria can cause many different types of infections including strep throat, scarlet fever, necrotizing fasciitis, and more.
Each kit contains latex reagent, positive control, and negative control in dropper vials; glass slide; disposable sample dropper; mixing stick, and product insert.
Titres of 1026 IU/ml have been detected with Oscar ASO Test Kit (Serolatex-ASO) with no prozone (Hook) effect.
Oscar’s Serolatex-ASO kit should be stored at 2-8 °C and is available in 25, 50, 100 Test packs.
