Widal Test Kit

The test detects the presence of antibodies that our body makes against salmonella bacteria in the case of being infected by Salmonella Typhi (with antigens S. Typhi O and S. Typhi H), or Salmonella Paratyphi (with antigens S. Paratyphi A and S. Paratyphi B).
If a particular antibody is present in the serum (i.e. if the patient has been infected by these antigens), it will react with a specific antigen and show visible clumping on the test card.
Oscar has two types of Widal tests:   
Oscar Widal 4-Antigen Kit tests against 4 antigens and is commonly more used in Africa. Pack Size: 100 tests, 4 bottles (Antigens O, H, AH, BH) x 5 ml
Oscar Widal 2 Antigen Kit tests against 2 antigens and is commonly used in India.
Pack Size: 100 tests, 2+2 bottles (Antigen O, Antigen H) x 5 ml
