Diluent

The complete blood count (CBC) is a very useful screening test, which experts recommend should be done annually. It allows physicians to diagnose numerous conditions such as problems with clotting, iron or other vitamin and mineral deficiencies, heart disease, allergies, autoimmune disorders, bone marrow issues, cancer, infection or inflammation, and reaction to medication. All or parts of the CBC are often a part of a patient’s preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative assessments. Blood cell analysis involves using hematololgy diluents to dilute the whole-blood sample. The diluent allows portions of the diluted blood sample to be analyzed for red blood cells and platelets. Diluents can help determine hemoglobin, white blood cell count, and more. Diluent (DFM-20) is compatible to various hematology analyzers including Mindray 3000 Series. It is available in pack size of 20 Ltr.
