Serolatex-ASO

Oscar’s Serolatex – ASO kit is an agglutination-based latex slide test intended for qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of anti-streptolysin-O (ASO), a substance produced by group A streptococcus bacteria, in human serum.

Group A strep bacteria can cause many different types of infections including strep throat, scarlet fever, necrotizing fasciitis, and more.

Kit contents: Each kit contains latex reagent, positive control, and negative control in dropper vials; glass slide; disposable sample dropper; mixing stick, and product insert.

Sensitivity: Titres of 1026 IU/ml have been detected with Oscar ASO Test Kit, with no prozone (Hook) effect. 

Pack size: available in packs of 25, 50, and 100 tests.

Storage: Oscar’s Serolatex – ASO kits should be stored at 2-8 °C.
